Mentoring (Essential)

Mentoring is a partnership that can take two forms: youth to youth and professional to youth.
Through these relationships, youth will have a trusted partner with whom to share challenges and struggles, celebrate the highs of life, and brainstorm ideas.
The goal is to build and enhance positive, caring, and supportive relationships.

Tutoring (Essential)

A comprehensive tutoring program offers professional support for academic struggles and peer-to-peer tutoring for additional help.
Students’ report cards will be reviewed to identify strengths and areas needing assistance.
Students will tutor in areas they excel in and receive help from peers or professionals for areas that require additional support.

Ready for Work (Electives)

Students will gain hands-on experience in various career fields through internships in cooperation or trade businesses.
The internship aims to expose students to a variety of career opportunities and equip them with valuable skills.
Key skills to be developed include time management, conflict resolution, communication, and professionalism, useful throughout school and life.

College Prep (Electives)

We encourage students to pursue higher education by offering test prep, college visits, grant assistance, and application support.
Our goal is to ensure every student knows they are capable and deserving of higher education opportunities.
Students will be paired with mentors who have successfully navigated the college experience for additional support.
